(ca. 15781646). Puritan; educ. Oxford; pastor of rural parishes in Eng.; friend of W. Laud. Works include A Briefe Catecheticall Exposition of Christian Doctrine; The Doctrine of the Synod of Dort and Arles Reduced to the Practise.
