Uppsala; ordained in Swed.; to Am. 1744; served the Ger. cong. at Lancaster, Pennsylvania; with some of his mems. he joined the Moravian Ch. 1746; caused disturbances in chs. in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New Jersey; returned to Eur. ca. 1750.
