Gooszen, Maurits Albrecht

(1837–1916). Pastor Nederlandse Hervormde Kerk 1861; prof. Leiden 1878; theologian of Groningen* School. Held that in addition to the emphases of M. Luther* and J. Calvin* there was a 3d type of reformation (biblico-theol., practico-ethical) represented by J. H. Bullinger* and the Heidelberg Catechism (see Reformed Confessions, D 2).
