Quality or attribute acc. to which God is supermundane, absolutely free and superior to all earthly, material things; even the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain Him (1 K 8:27; cf. Jb 11:710). But He is not separate or apart (see Deism); cf. Jer 23:23; Acts 17:28. See also Immanence of God; Panentheism.
