Saadia ben Joseph

(Saadiah; Seadiah; Saadja; Arab.: Sa'id al-Fayyumi; ca. 882/892–942). Jewish scholar and commentator; b. Dilaz, Faiyum, Egypt; gaon (head) of Talmudic academy at Sura, Babylonia.
