Löhe*; under Löhe's direction he led a group of emigrants to Am. 1847 and founded Frankentrost, Michigan; pastor Roseville, Michigan, 1853; founded a cong. at Mount Clemens, Michigan; pastor St. Charles, Missouri, 1859.
