Celebration of the Eucharist by a chief celebrant and one or more other clergymen. The term is used also in connection with Angl.-Luth. interim* Eucharistic sharing, which raises questions (1) as to whether each denomination recognizes the validity of the orders of the other and (2) as to whether or not the pratice is truly Luth.
