Harvard; helped est. the Ch. of the Disciples, a Unitarian ch. in Boston founded in the interest of freedom of individual belief and to apply the Christian religion to soc. problems; secy. Unitarian Assoc.; prof. natural theol. and Christian theol. at Harvard. Works include Ten Great Religions; Orthodoxy: Its Truths and Errors; ed. The Western Messenger.
