Dutch-Ref. pastor Bloemfontein, Union of S Afr., 1848; Worcester, Cape Province, Union of S Afr., 1860–64; Cape Town 1864–71. Pastor of a Huguenot community at Wellington, Cape Province, 1871. Founded a Huguenot sem. and miss. training school at Wellington.
