Baierlein*; succeeded him 1853; mission was almost lost 1860 in govt. transfer of Indians to Isabella Co., Michigan; Miessler served them there till 1869; teacher Saginaw 186971; accepted temporary supply position at Saginaw; left ministry 1871 to study and practice medicine (187499) in Chicago, Illinois.
