Landmarkism is a term used in reference to their emphasis on what they regard as landmarks of the ch. and its practice: the ch. is only visible and local; valid baptism requires a proper administrator; other chs. are not recognized as Christian; true chs. are connected with NT times by apostolic succession or succession of believer's* Baptism.
