Among other things it reaffirmed the importance of analogy* of faith and of ch. tradition in Scriptural interpretation; demonstration of the existence of God; doctrine of creation,* predestination,* existence of angels,* original sin,* transubstantiation (see Grace, Means of, IV 3); membership in the ch.; approval of Thomism (see Thomas Aquinas).
